The 2023-24 Season is upon us, and we wanted to share some important Rules & Updates regarding the Uvalde County Arena, as follows:
STALL/RV RESERVATIONS & RULES
Stall/RV Reservations will be made exclusively through www.openstalls.com and will be assigned based on your online registration time (first-come, first-served).
Open Stalls online reservations will close on the Friday that falls the WEEK BEFORE each rodeo; so please be sure to reserve early.For example, for the September 9-10 rodeo, reservations will close at midnight on Friday, September 1.Late reservations will be taken, however, you must do so by calling our Rental Office at 830-591-9040 and making payment over the phone.A late fee of $10 will be assessed.
This year you will have the option to pre-pay your stall/RV assignments for the full season, split into two payments (or you may pay in full); one payment will be due prior to the first rodeo and the second is due prior to the fourth rodeo.
PLEASE NOTE:Stall/RV reservations will NOT be refunded.However, our office will help you connect with someone that may still need a stall or RV, so that you may recoup your reservations fees from them.For our assistance, simply call our Rental Office at 830-591-9040 or email us at fairplex@uvaldecounty.com with as much advance notice as possible.With your permission, we will give your contact info to the person needing the stall and/or RV.

2023-24 RV Rental Rate:$40/per night
Tack Stalls will NOT be allowed this season, due to the increased number of rodeo participants.Our first priority is to accommodate all of the horses.
Horses are not to be stalled in cattle pens, warm-up arena or stall alleys.You must rent a stall or you are welcome to bring a portable outdoor stall, at no charge.Also, you may park your self-contained RV on site, but outside of the RV Park area, at no charge.
Stalls have been re-numbered so please refer to the updated stall map online at www.openstalls.com or on our website at www.uvaldecountyfairplex.com.
SHAVINGS
Shavings will NO LONGER be sold by The Fairplex.We hope to have a vendor on site for your convenience.Feel free to bring your own.
FAMILY/FRIENDS
Please remember to advise your visiting family/friends to NOT BLOCK RV SPOTS as they search for parking.All RV Spots will be pre-assigned and spoken for.
For everyone’s safety, please do not bring wheeled-toys inside the Arena to ride on the floors.If riding outside on horses or wheeled-toys, please remember that there could be traffic coming from the other venues on our property and the utmost caution should always be taken.
